Do you see the circle of influence? The county gives to EDC $438,000 annually. The EDC is operated by John Cox. John Cox also runs the Chamber of Commerce. The PAC organized by John Cox makes political contributions to Commissioners Carruth, Juba and Carpenter.

The proper term is “Influence Buying.”

I made these comments at tonight commissioners’ meeting. I thought John Cox was going to swallow his tongue. You can watch the commissioners meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6PM on Channel 22.

I was at last night’s meeting; but I missed Harold’s latest rant. However, I’ve been told that instead John Cox swallowing his tongue - a careful observer might hear something different. Laughter, perhaps.

I’ve got to jet; but there will be more to come later. Briefly, Harold’s analysis is absurd; but that should come as no surprise to regular readers.
