
First, there was this bit of news of breaks on sales taxes and expanding the TIF limits [click here to read more] - that’s par for the course lately.
Now, Congressman Robin Hayes is helping out.
This from the Sailsbury Post:
Hayes worked to get specific language in the bill to recognize the importance of plant genetic and nutrition research at the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis and to look for new ways to address current and future health concerns.
“My goal is to bring every resource possible to the table to assist this project,” Hayes said in a press release. “The text of this bill sends the signal that the North Carolina Research Campus has wide support in Congress and that the USDA should begin looking at ways to become more involved in this exciting opportunity.”
