Palmer Thibault here again. I’ve hacked into Daddy’s blog again to inform the readers of my progress on the hottest story in the County. As you know, Mommy and Daddy have embarked on an experiment by hiding a baby in Mommy’s belly. I firmly believe that babies don’t belong in bellies and you all should work to convince Mommy and Daddy to let the baby out to play.
Speaking of the poor, trapped baby - I’ve got some big news.
Just so you know - as a public service - I’ve gone undercover utilizing a number of disguises to uncover the truth.
First, there’s the Construction Engineer

Then, I’ve tried Mad Scientist

Next, there’s where I’m a Political Operative

Finally, there’s my Fire Fighter look

But, don’t try this at home - as you can see from the following picture - these disguises require the help of professionals

Of course, you all are here for the Big News. Here’s where I was when I found out about it utilizing my skills in stealth to get the truth for you!

I’m having a little brother. Here’s what I know so far:
- The baby and mommy are doing OK in spite of being part of this strange “baby-in-a-belly” experiment. I said it once, and I’ll say it again - if I was ever in anyone’s belly: I’d get OUT. Bro’s ETA is still mid-January.
- Mommy and Daddy are completely bumfuzzled when it comes to names. They haven’t picked one out and refer to my brother as “Jelly Bean“. I’m open to suggestions. A friend of mine who’s a little older than me calls her bro-to-be “Kickball”. I like that.
- Boys Rule! Trusted sources have told me that girls have “cooties”. I don’t know what “cooties” are and I don’t care to find out. I’ll have to share my toys with the little runt; but Daddy better get used to home repair because Jelly Bean and I are going to tear the house up - “Bro Style!”
- Here’s his picture:

Well, I’ll keep y’all updated as events unfold.

Palmer D. Thibault OUT!
Note, all images came from Daddy’s Flickr Photo album - go check it out!

Hey pssst Palmer….
I have a big candy bar for you if you tell daddy that you think “Harold” or “Coy” is a good sounding name.

Hey Palmer, How about Sylvester?? Suffering succotash you can name him after his aunt - well that’s better than Sue which consideting this side of the family wouldn’t be that bad.

LiberalNC - He ain’t “that” into candy
Susan - I imagine you’ll be hearing from us soon
Crista - “Palmer” means pilgrim and we’re already having a hard enough time keeping up with him. With “Archer”, I’d see visions of ER visits in our future.
Aunt Sugie - The policy - as I understand it - is that boy names will come from her side or outside of the family. If we’d had a girl…there was a real possibility of having a little Sug.

Congratulations to the three of you! I am extremely impressed by Palmer’s journalistic capabilities. I hope he will take-up political commentary as well. While there is a good chance dad may not approve, I hope to see his writings in the New Yorker in the near future. Either that or some commentary coverage on NPR!

L. Green - It’s a possibility. I’m liberal by MY dad’s standards.
Then again, seeing Palmer’s writing soon in a liberal rag would be appropriate as he’s just now a toddler and would fit in.
ZING!
Sorry, couldn’t resist.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing in all of this. We’re happy as anyone can be at our many blessings.

How about Samuel? 1 Sam 2:26
Actually most any name is good, when you remember that he is another gift from the Lord. Just remember that when comfort is needed on a long plane flight, and the guy on the next row has the same maturity of the children.

Congratulations. I can just picture the two brothers coyly romping through the privet hedges playing cowboys and Indians. Of course Archer will be the Indian and Winchester will be the cowboy.

2 boys are great! We should know! It is rough at first, you dont realize how hard just one more child is, but stay positive and I hope Palmer adjusts as fast as Hunter did!! Enjoy your time as 3, but look forward to your time as a family of four! God Bless!!!

17 Cabarrus Cheap Seats - Palmer’s Election Day // Nov 7, 2007 at 12:58 am
[...] Hey, it’s Palmer again - I’ve taken a break from solving the mystery of the baby trapped in Mommy’s belly. I got some cool pictures to show y’all from my Election Day adventure. That one is me with David Murdock. He’s building some big thing in Kannapolis that costs more than a billion dollars. [...]
