Brief Programming Note: Locusts have conspired against me and kept me away from ye olde blog the past two days. I’ll have the Friday Five and the remainder of the Odell Incorporation series tomorrow.
THE CABARRUS GOP MEN’S CLUB invites you to meet and hear a 20 member team of TEEN CHALLENGE
TEEN CHALLENGE began in 1958, when David Wilkerson, author of “The Cross and Switchblade”, responded to the desperate needs of young gang members in New York City. That which started with one man has given hope to thousands of America’s hurting youth. According to the National Opinion Research Center of the University of Chicago, 86% of
the youth who have graduated from the Teen Challenge program were
still drug free seven years later. The late President Ronald Reagan said this about TEEN CHALLENGE, “I sincerely appreciate your efforts to reach and rehabilitate the many young people who have, at present, no hope in life. The ministry and dedication of Teen Challenge deserve the commendation of every citizen”
