Cabarrus Cheap Seats

The Cabarrus GOP Christmas Party is Friday, December 7, 2007, at 6:30pm, at the Kannapolis Country Club. Tickets are $50 a piece, money well spent for a great meal and a great fundraiser before this election year… Many state and local officials have already confirmed that they’ll be here, and to top it off, on such an historic day, our keynote speakers will be two members of our armed services from WWII; more specifically, two members of the United States air crew.

Bill Howard was an initially an instructor pilot, and eventually was part of our combat crew of B-29 bombers. He’ll tell us about the training that went into turning our 18 year old soldiers into the men who would win the war for freedom.

Bill Whitley was in a combat crew in the European Theatre and was shot down 3 times during his duty. His resiliance and tenacity were telling as a young member of our armed services, and he’ll speak to us about the combat he was part of.

Please contact us ASAP about reserving your seat; again, tickets are moving fast. Especially for those of you who plan on bringing more than yourself, it’s important we have a decent idea as to who’ll be present and who won’t be so seating can be arranged well.
