Admittedly, I’m disappointed…not one delegate for my candidate: Jackie Broyles. I’ve also heard that he won’t even be on the NC Ballot for the GOP nomination (but Alan Keyes made it - go figure)
So, now’s the time to make your case: why should I back your candidate for Prez?
Update: My favorite punditry team weigh in on Super Tuesday

The fiscal conservative part of my brain says that McCain would be the best choice behind Ron Paul. Every other part of my political brain tells me to throw in the towel and just vote for Obama, who is at least honest about how big of a socialist he is.
Given the lot of jackasses that this years Republican Primaries have produced, I’m “throwing my vote away” on Ron Paul in the primaries and not voting if McCain gets the nomination… Suffice it to say that IF (HA, More like definitely when) Ron Paul doesn’t get the nomination, he will be a good write in candidate provided he doesn’t accept the Libertarian nomination. I say that only because I’m unsure if North Carolina will even put him on the Ballot if he signs on to run Libertarian. Justin, I’m sure you’d know better than I what the deal is with presidential write ins and third party candidates. All I know is, If I wanted to run for a state level office as anything but a Republicrat or a Demo-ican I’m screwed in North Carolina.
There’s not but about 2 shades difference between McCain and Hill Dawg or Husseininator.
If McCain get’s the nod, you will see the end of 20th century conservatism and the dawn of a new day of “moderateism” We’ve had a strange 8 years with Bush. I just love how everyone hates him so much but McCain is the greatest thing since sliced bread…
Hey, They’re basically the same person! McCain is just more articulate…

The party will unite behind McCain.

Mark - I’m not sure about “uniting”. I think that the time between now and Election day - in political terms - is an eternity plus 9 months.
The election will be decided by events and prevailing trends bearing fruit over the next 6 months.
