Spirited Discussion About Life in Cabarrus County, North Carolina

That’ll Leave A Mark

So, I was thinking about doing next week’s Friday Five about Scott McClellan; but I would lack integrity trying to follow the beat-down that Bob Dole gave him via e-mail.

Yes, that Bob Dole.

There’s only one miserable creature in this administration, blindingly obsessed with his precccccious Iraq. Those who follow him are equally as blind.

Thief! Thief, McClellan! We hates it, we hates it, we hates it forever!

    See you on Mount Doom.

Bob sums it up quite well. Another case of selling your soul for cash.

Another case of selling your soul for cash.

Is that like selling your image for cash to hawk Viagra pills?

When it comes to McClellan’s book, nothing there we didn’t already know, but it’s nice to see it confirmed by an insider.
The Bible says, “The truth shall make you free”, but sometimes it hurts a little.

What really gets me about this situation is now Congress is saying that they will bring McClellan in to testify on a new round of Judicial hearings. Since 2006, there have been non stop hearings trying to pick apart every little aspect of the Bush administration. I read an article a couple of days ago that said that if Karl Rove refuses to testify on his role in the firing of 9 U.S. Attorneys, they will have him arrested. This is nothing more than another stunt and waste of time. These attorneys are to serve at the will of the President, so they can be fired for what ever reason he wants, political or otherwise.

I also love how this book is the only thing that MSNBC deems newsworthy anymore. They seem to overlook the little fiasco at Barack’s (ex) Church.
