So for the longest time, I thought I was sending local officials e-mails.
Funny thing - the bi-weekly e-mail happened once…maybe. I didn’t know it; but my mass e-mail to 80 or so officials and candidates run up against a 50 e-mail/hour limit. I never got an error.
What’s funny is that I got increasingly indignant about hardly any of them participating.
So, at some point this weekend I’m going to do a mass e-mail to them explaining the situation.
It gets worse. If you lose your password, there’s this cool feature where you can retrieve it. Well, from time to time, people would tell me that the link they had was broken, and I wouldn’t believe them. Well, wouldn’t ya know it; but Wordpress puts special characters in their “security keys” that render them useless in browsers…some of the time.
Again, I get to send out another mea culpa.
It ought to be a fun e-mail. However, if this is the worst thing to happen during this “open blog experiment” - I’ll be happy.
