I’ve moved those crazy Maria Ray comments from the Hayes Ad thread to here.

This proves I’m rather permissive about what I let go on here; but I’d like to hear from everyone else - should behavior like this be permitted?

BOYS!!!!

ONCE AGAIN, I hate to ruin your party.
Mr. Kissell……. a TEACHER from Montgomery County.

Lets put it this way….
for those of you spending so much time on this, Kissell knows what he is doing. He is not stupid.
NO MATTER WHO TRIES TO MAKE IT LOOK THAT WAY.

*Teachers who teach in Montgomery County are teaching in a rural county.
VERY RURAL.

HOW WOULD I KNOW?
I taught Interior Design there. As well as Teen Living and Life Management.
Kissell was in the East District. I was in the West.
Some of my students did not even have running water in their own homes and I had to teach them ( STATE INSTRUCTION) the difference between a loveseat and a sofa!

Kissell knows.

He is NOT someone who would fabricate his resume just to get elected to office OR deliberately mislead employees. He knows the line you have to toll.
He has been there.

After all its easier to tell the truth, than make up a lie.
But, for some people , lying seems to be a full time occupation. No wonder this person can’t seem to find a real job.
Kissell is not that type of person.

STEVE SMITH.. made a good point.
There are probably some employers that may have two or three illegals and then there are some employers that have 200 plus illegals… and some of these employers may just run for an elected office, or some may already be in public office…..
and you guys are picking on ole Kissell?

Maria - Not defensive about Coy, he’s the only commissioner given to lying. That being the case, I just don’t want to be a party to libel.

So, when did he lie on his resume?

And what do you mean by shutdown timeline?

Never mind.
I can certainly tell when something went “swish” right over your head.
But, I will say your blog has definitely taken a great political turn. Its more informative.
Larry Kissell is a great guy. Anyone that taught in a county such as Montgomery County deserves a medal. Not many new recruits place that county on the top of their hot places to teach.
Kissell is an excellent history teacher. The kids loved him.
Montgomery County was boot camp for him.
I place high bets Kissell can handle anything Hayes throws at him.

Keep up the excellent work on your blog!

I’ve found an interesting trend in Coy and his allies…they are working to sabotage the current slate of GOP candidates. At Monday’s Commissioner meeting, Coy said that “the GOP needs to repent” and, I love this gem, “If you follow the NC law - you’ll stay out of trouble”. His little cronies have shown up at meetings and been critical of Hartsell and Barnhart every chance they get.

I guess the real RINOs are showing their true colors.

Not only did my blog get under your skin it certainly crawled on others too….I don’t have to have comments.
I know when I am getting results because the SAME PERSON keeps sending love letters.
(Sorry, I didn’t make it a profession like you certainly have. ) (my designer friends would have BARBEQUED ME for being so boring! )

Its evident , you must have been too close to fumes from Miss Clairol because something certainly has sent you into a “sinequanon”.

And I can’t believe your writing for a local newspaper, another reason not to advertise with them.

Theirry - It all makes sense when you realize which Commissioner she’s talking about.

Hint: Juba Aluminum told her husband they were no longer in need of his services as an employee a few years back.

Maria Ray has, on several occasions, conspired to insert her personal vendetta into political and civic discussions. She was the main source for the “Juba Scandal” that I disproved - go here for the back story and the article will make more sense.

Maria doesn’t mention Juba by name, because Maria - rightly - fears litigation for her slander and libel. People challenged her on her blog via comments to name names and she simply shut comments down.

She follows a predictable pattern. She’ll talk about what a great designer she is and invoke patrician roots and connections that never existed or are tenuous. Then she’ll challenge the unprovable - like she didn’t believe the Caleb existed when it was she that was the only person to create multiple identities. And then make threats of some great revelation that - in the past few YEARS has never come to fruition.

She blogs because the papers quit running her rants and consider her an unreliable source. She’s got personality issues that lead her to strange stalking behavior.

While I pity her pathetic soul, what makes my blood boil is that she brought her personal vendettas into fouling public policy - namely the jail with her lies and fabrications.

I hope that clears it up.

Aaron - While I would never be so presumptuous as to tell you what to do - please feel free to be a “parting shot” commenter on this thread and not feed this particular Internet Troll (see what I mean by troll here)

Exlusivity seems to be the bastion of the insane. The thought that they know something that no one else knows makes them feel special and important.

While I had hoped my recusing myself of further comments would deter her half legible replies it seems that the local whacko-of-the-week has her own agendas.

These thinly veiled references are nothing more than empty statements attempting to make yourself seem important.

As for her comment’s themselves: Marions are hilarious, her’s are just pathetic. I’m all for free speech and allowing differing opinions to be heard but she brings nothing meaningful to any discussion. At least Marion has a sense of humor…

I didn’t realize that the patients at Dortha Dix Hospital were allowed Internet Access. Justin, you know that your’e playin’ right into her hand, don’t ya. She’s like the two year old that screams for attention. Responding to her rants just makes her worse. At least Marion knew when to leave you along. In a battle of wits, these people are unarmed.
