I missed this when it came on cable, but the print story is motivating enough.
Earlier this year, a nation was hoping against all hope that a kid from Concord - UNC’s mascot - would beat the odds after being hit by an SUV in New Jersey.
He didn’t, but because of a decision he made helped [...]

Retread - Bruton’s Millions
November 28th, 2007 · 3 Comments
A phone call with an Asian client kept me at work until about 8PM. Given that, not much time for blogging. I figured with everything that’s gone on with the Speedway, that I would share a little blast from the past.
This is back from May 2005. It’s the second post I’ve ever written; but it’s [...]

October 9th, 2007 · 8 Comments
When I first heard about the complaints over the proposed drag strip at Lowes Motor Speedway (LMS) - I asked myself - how loud is it really?
Pretty freakin’ loud.
According to makeitlouder.com (which is one of the coolest website names ever). N.H.R.A. dragsters can produce sounds in the 160db range when standing nearby. That’s in the [...]

As you know, municipal elections are “non-partisan” which is code [...]
